DeliverThat's Incorrect Drop-Off Location policy includes a 50% charge of any refund over $40, totaling up to $100.
If it is determined the driver has delivered to the incorrect location, there is a possibility of the customer and, in turn, the restaurant processing a refund.
Typically, this would only occur when a driver is on a stack, double, or a route within the platform.
To ensure you are delivering to the correct location, please confirm the customer name and order ID with the restaurant at the time of pickup. Please confirm with the customer you are dropping off for while also checking any special delivery instructions to ensure the food is taken to the correct office, suite, or specified location.
The impact of not delivering correctly can be very far-reaching. Restaurants depend on DeliverThat to deliver high-value orders to repeat customers, who often do not return if their orders are not delivered. This can impact future business to the restaurant, future deliveries sent to DeliverThat, and ultimately future deliveries to the drivers in your area.
We understand life happens, and factors outside of your control can impact your ability to complete a delivery. Should you have a scenario where this occurs, please make sure you document your situation. When you receive your email about your violation, you can respond to us immediately with your reasons why this happened and the documentation.
If you do have deductions processing that you believe are unwarranted, please email email@example.com.
