DeliverThat's Tardiness policy includes a 50% charge of any refund over $40, totaling up to $100.
Customers expect their food to be delivered at the specified time in the DeliverThat app. Drivers can view the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times before accepting a delivery. In the event that a driver is late to the restaurant or customer, it may result in the order being delivered late to the customer and could potentially result in a refund.
For all ezCater deliveries scheduled to be delivered after 9 am, there is a 15-minute window provided to the customer. So a delivery listed for 11 am drop off is expected to be delivered between 11 am, and 11:15 am.
If the dispatch team assigns you a specific delivery route, you will not incur any late or early penalties.
The impact of tardiness can be very far-reaching. Restaurants depend on DeliverThat to deliver high-value orders to repeat customers, who often do not return if their orders are not delivered. This can impact future business to the restaurant, future deliveries sent to DeliverThat, and ultimately future deliveries to the drivers in your area.
We understand life happens, and factors outside of your control can impact your ability to complete a delivery. Should you have a scenario where this occurs, please make sure you document your situation. When you receive your email about your violation, you can respond to us immediately with your reasons why this happened and the documentation.
If you do have deductions processing that you believe are unwarranted, please email driver@ideliverthat.com.
