All accepted deliveries are your responsibility to complete at the pick up and drop-off times listed in the DeliverThat app. Any delays caused by driver tardiness or poor scheduling will be your responsibility. If you have multiple deliveries during the day, make sure every delivery can be picked up and delivered at the exact time listed in the DeliverThat app. Follow the steps below to better understand the process for completing a delivery:
1.) Always go online in the app 1 hour prior to pickup time. When it is time to leave your house for the delivery make sure you start task 1 by sliding the task bar 'slide to start the job'. We recommend using Google Maps or Waze to navigate to both pickup and drop off locations.
2.) When you arrive at the pick up location, this task should automatically complete when you are close to the restaurant. If it does not automatically complete this task, please slide 'Arrive at Restaurant-name'.
3.) Collect the food and then obtain a signature from a restaurant employee in the 'Add Signature' task. A signature from the restaurant employee eliminates the risk of being blamed for any missing food. Slide 'Depart Restaurant-name' after the food has been handed to you.
4.) When you arrive at the drop-off location, the 3rd task will complete automatically for you. If for any reason it does not complete automatically, simply slide the task labeled 'Arrive at Drop-off' to complete this task.
5.) To complete the delivery, find the customer or colleague at the drop-off location to direct you to where they would like the delivery set-up. Always attempt to set-up the delivery unless told otherwise. Take a picture of the food setup and upload the picture in the 'Complete Delivery' task. Once uploaded, slide the 'Complete Delivery' task and leave the drop-off location.
